Fishing Spots - Shimla (Himachal Pradesh)

This place is best for fishing lovers in the Upstream of river Pabbar in Rohru, about 110 Kms from Shimla. This spot is acclaimed as the best sport fish in the world. Here both Brown and Rainbow Trout are found. There are other ideal spots for fishing within 5 to 25 Kms from Rohru, they are Seema, Mandil, Sandsu, Tikri and Dhamvari. It is advisable to take licenses for fishing at river Pabbar from the Officer of Fisheries stationed at Chirgaon. Make a note that fishing is not allowed during 1st June to 31st July (General water) in Mahseer and 1st November to 31 January in Trout Water.
